SUPER excessively. I can roll up a paper towel, put it under my pit, 10 minutes later, it will be soaked.That being said, these pads started to sweat through after about 5 hours, like the instructions said, which I think is pretty good considering how much I sweat. Luckily at work I have a place where I can change them easily -- if you don't, these might not work for you. They do hurt to remove and cause the spot to be red, like wearing a band aid on your armpit, but that's to be expected. If you apply it to the incorrect spot on your armpit, the friction can cause it to itch. The problem I have with them is they say not to wear deodorant with them. When you sweat as much as I do, and it goes through the pad - you can smell it. Not strongly, but you can.
